It is almost Diwali and New Year is around the corner. We know for a fact that everyone takes some action in the new year. For the betterment of their life and financial status. They say it is “easier said than done” and that is true. Yes, it is very hard to make sure you do what you promise to yourself. I am not sure what you are going to promise to yourself. My resolution for the new year is going to be to improve the financial structure of myself. What better option could Blogging and online marketing provide when it comes to this kind of stuff. I am also going to throw some light on what I think about making money online in 2017 and why making money online is not easy in 2017.
Making Money Online is not easy in 2017 & Why
When it comes to making money online, few people come to mind instantly. Few of them I follow on a daily basis is Pat Flynn and Harsh Agrawal. Pat Flynn is recognized as an Online Entrepreneur, Author, Blogger, and Podcaster. Harsh Agarwal calls himself a Blog Scientist. They both are pro bloggers and earn their bread and butter online. If we do not compare them both they both their way of sharing knowledge and it is commendable how many people are impacted?
Pat Flynn and Harsh Agrawal both share their income reports online for transparency, and you can go through them clicking on the link below.
Looking at the revenue reports it surely sounds like making money online is not easy and not just in 2017 but ever. But it is not impossible either. If we see from the way they had started this journey, they started this online business nine years back. And we should not be comparing our 1st year to their nine years. It is nine years of hard work, sleepless nights that paid them off.
Hard Work Pays Off Not Smart Work
As you might have already known making money online is not easy as it was before because there are a lot of people now who are interested in this. They all are trying to get something out of the online world. And always remember that every second you miss not working on your blog or business, you are losing money. Because someone out there is working their butt off to outperform you.
From my childhood, my parents always said that hard work pays. When I grew up, my teachers said that smart work pays off. I belong to a lower middle-class family, so I initially thought that my parents must not know the exact way to make money, so they are saying that Hard Work pays off. But if someone is smart then they can make the hard working people work, and that is all that makes sense.
Then when the real world came in, I realized that it does not operate that way. Even if you are smart, you can not win unless you work hard. If you know Gary Vaynerchuck then you already know that he is a great believer of this. And he says that “The Law of Attraction only works if you do.” which is true. I know it is not easy as it sounds but that is the truth.
Making money online is not easy: How to do it right
There are few legit ways which are valid if you want to make money online. Some of them are:
- Learning and Teaching
- Offer a Service
- Selling Products
- Online Surveys
- Sell Your Study Notes
- Freelance Writing
- Sell Your Photos (Not personal ones of course.)
- YouTube Videos
These are the best ways I think that could evolve your career in making money online in 2017. And these are legit so you will not be in any trouble for sure if you do this. Let me briefly explain what each one is, and you might have a little help choosing which one to go for.
Blogging: – you might already know this. Just create a blog on something of your interest and keep writing on the blog. Be consistent, nd you will see the results. People will visit your blog. By using Google Adsense and Affiliate Marketing, you can earn from your blog.
Learning and teaching: – This is probably the best I would go for. Let’s say for an example that you are learning Guitar, and you can teach whatever you learned from your teacher and put it on your YouTube channel. This covers both the parts i.e. Learning and teaching along with YouTube. When you put a video on YouTube, you will eventually get paid because of the ads that show while your video is running on YouTube.
Offer a Service: – What this one means is everyone is good at something. You might be good at handling servers; you might know how to migrate one website to another and stuff. Find that best thing in you out and then help someone who needs your service. There are a lot of people who would pay you for helping them, and you can earn from them by offering them what you know.
Selling Products: – Gary Vaynerchuck is a great believer of this. Selling products you do not need at home. Sometimes we have two of things which we do not need. Or maybe something is lying at our home just because we do not use it. By garage selling on eBay, we can sell those stuff and make some money as well.
Online Surveys: – There are some websites which request you to do some online survey, and they pay you for that as well. So it is directly proportional to the number of reviews you do.
Sell your study Notes: – some students need your notes as well. Hence you can put your study notes into a website and when people start coming in you can put Google AdSense there and earn money from it.
Freelance Writing: – There are websites and blogs which pay you to write for them. If you want to write for BloggersBooks that is also possible and I will be offering you a nominal amount for your writing. If you are interested, then do drop me an email at Prabhu@BloggersBooks.com, and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Sell Your Photos: – This is a great one, we all have phones. And we take a lot of pictures. If you have some breathtaking photos you can sell them as well for a price.
So these are the reasons I think that Making money online is not easy but you can do it better in these ways as I mentioned above and it should be fine for you to go through these options and make money online. Let me know if you can find out any other ways that are working fine and are legit and I will include them in the post as well.
